Inauguration of Psychology Conclave
“The Journey of Thousand Miles Begins With One Step “. On the occasion of Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti, Tagore Public School took the immense pleasure of announcing the Tagore Week Celebration where the Psychology department of the school , for the first time in the history of psychology subject at the school level in Jaipur , organized “Psychology Conclave – Career Fair” exhibiting ‘Where will a career in psychology take you?’, for class XI , XII and College level for two days. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Ruchira Solanki (Tagore Hospital) and Mr. Pillai (Founder President of IDF) This the first time such an informative exhibition covering important career branches of psychology such as Clinical psychology , counseling psychology , forensic psychology , sports psychology ,school and education psychology related to special education , military psychology, industrial and organisational psychology and many others , along with the qualification required , institutions providing the courses , Job area , Job titles as well as their salaries has been exhibited. All the esteemed schools of Jaipur such as Army School , Subhodh School , Children’s Academy along with the students of psychology department of Stani college and the University of Rajasthan, around 300 students visited the exhibition on the first day and more are expected on second day of the exhibition. The students were excited and keen to know about the various career options related to the subject. The Director of the Institution, Mr. P.D. Singh, appreciated the efforts of the teachers and students and congratulated them for setting up a mile stone and preparing such an informative exhibition and making everybody aware about the different career spheres of psychology.
